Why is it that sketchy scary problems often get stars?

Even with +9 cm reach a 168 cm guy cant actually sit start. Started with a toe hook, hanging start, kinda crouchish start.

For me this one was a big boy/girl problem for years, now it was doable! 😊

Eight hand moves in the roof until the jug :D Clearly there are beta options, a really nice and tough roof.

I don't know if this is missing holds, but not really a 4. Eliminated the big shelf on the left 5+ route, supposed it's not in even if reachable.

Sit start is far from 3 (for adults anyway), but otherwise a 3 of course. Funnier to go without hands after the start.

The loose jug was way too dangerous, this one should never have been opened if that was known. Light kick and it fell, after hanging on only it... Now its off, don't know the grade.

I used some small holds on the way, and not only ones in the crag. I probably couldn't finish a 7C in <10 tries, so maybe a 7B+ for me.

1st go. The place where Ichi Seki and Pride Parade cross feels so much easier from right to left (for my reach).

Took several tries, fingers just melted away from the right crimp... Pure 7A for me.

Compared to the 7A here this felt harder with more cruxes, but once those were figured out, maybe not a 7B+. Suberb problem anyway!!

Felt more than just a plus harder than the short version.

Used the pedestal as first sit start holds (thus not sitting on it). At least we got some laughs out of it

Just couldn't reach a sit start with an old pad, would have needed 2cm more. But I am fine with low start if "sit start" is for 180+cm people :)

1st I did this wrong, starting from lowest crimps way to the right, that was cool way. Then read the description. Now more fun :)

Nowhere close to 6A+ for a short climber. Maybe taller can start from the right, I had to start from the left using bad holds for several moves. Also topout is awful. Have climbed easier 7A's.

2nd session, 3th go. Didn't even get the last toehook right, but fought on. Yay!

This mantle taught me a lot, star for that :)

Did both ways, with the left diagonal crimp and without. Without feels 7Aish, with it 6C+. No point excluding it imo, better downgrade the problem. I'm 168cm +9cm ape index.
