I top roped the route some months before Martiska’s send, but at the time leading it felt horrible, as if Aarni’s screams would have been recorded on the holds as a warning. Now something had changed; first I belayed Tapio when he showed me that it can be done without the slightest fear. After one incredulous try I managed to top it. I swear I saw a piece of skin on a crucial foot hold during the crux.

The slab part was very mossy so topped a bit after the mantel. Felt about 6C like that. Veery nice though.

Flash with the reachy sit start from the crimps, redpoint from the low ss from the sider + sloper, that one felt hard for 6A

Toe hook for tall too easy to be 7A

EDIT: A very good foot hold broke on 29.4.2024, making the start a bit harder. And the spruce kissed me back<333

Didn’t use even the smallest sider and like that it felt more like 6B, at least harder than Savumuuri.

First send of the year. It’s quite dry in the middle of February, but the pad gets wet :3
