Description

The main attraction is probably sector Branta väggen with its insanely steep, crimpy and bouldery routes. The routes are only around 7-8 meters high, but very steep in the beginning. Crashpads might come in handy as climbing is grotesquely bouldery right from the start. If you don't have any stamina but are excessively strong on small crimps this might be the crag for you. However, there are a couple of easier routes on the flanks that can work for those who are not so strong. Bring a brush as the rock is quite mossy, although some routes are brushed off from time to time.

The less steep other sectors might be of some interest and sector Lilla väggen offers a couple of nice technical face climbs, but bring a brush as it probably is very mossy. Sector Kastrullocket offers some overhanging seven-meter routes.

Environment:
Sector Branta väggen and Kastrullocket face northwest and are cool on hot sunny summerdays. The other sectors have a west-facing orientation and are quite exposed to the sun.

History

The rock was found by Reino Liimatainen but it was Johan Luhr who made most of the more difficult routes.
