Ci troviamo nella bellissima Valle Po nei pressi del paese di Sanfront. Il settore si trova nel versante Sud della valle permettendo una scalata con ottime condizioni durante i mesi freddi invernali. Durante questo periodo non è difficile incontrare neve ma i massi si asciugano in poco tempo. La roccia è gneiss a grana relativamente grossa colorata da un particolare marroncino molto chiaro. Il settore comprende pochi massi ma di grandi dimensioni su cui sono presenti parecchi passaggi di ogni difficoltà e altezze. La roccia offre passaggi delicati su placca, tetti su svase e tacche, numerosi movimenti dinamici e qualche traverso. Tutti i massi sono segnalati da cartelli della Regione Piemonte e facilmente raggiungibili da sentieri ben visibili.

We are located in the beautiful Po Valley near the town of Sanfront. The sector is located on the southern side of the valley allowing climbing with excellent conditions during the cold winter months. During this period it is not difficult to encounter snow but the boulders dry out quickly. The rock is relatively coarse-grained gneiss colored a very light brown. The sector includes few but large boulders on which there are several passages of all difficulties and heights. The rock offers delicate passages on slabs, roofs on slopes and notches, numerous dynamic movements and some traverses. All the boulders are marked by signs from the Piedmont Region and easily reachable from clearly visible paths.

Nous sommes situés dans la magnifique vallée du Pô, près de la ville de Sanfront. Le secteur est situé sur le versant sud de la vallée permettant l'escalade dans d'excellentes conditions pendant les mois froids de l'hiver. Durant cette période, il n'est pas difficile de rencontrer de la neige mais les rochers sèchent rapidement. La roche est un gneiss à grain relativement grossier, de couleur brun très clair. Le secteur comprend peu mais de gros rochers sur lesquels se trouvent plusieurs passages de toutes difficultés et hauteurs. Le rocher offre des passages délicats sur dalles, des toitures sur pentes et échancrures, de nombreux mouvements dynamiques et quelques traversées. Tous les rochers sont signalés par des panneaux de la Région Piémont et facilement accessibles par des sentiers bien visibles.

Wir befinden uns in der wunderschönen Poebene in der Nähe der Stadt Sanfront. Der Sektor liegt auf der Südseite des Tals und ermöglicht das Klettern in den kalten Wintermonaten bei hervorragenden Bedingungen. In dieser Zeit ist es nicht schwer, auf Schnee zu stoßen, aber die Felsbrocken trocknen schnell aus. Das Gestein besteht aus relativ grobkörnigem Gneis mit einer sehr hellbraunen Farbe. Der Sektor umfasst wenige, aber große Felsblöcke, auf denen es mehrere Passagen aller Schwierigkeitsgrade und Höhen gibt. Der Fels bietet filigrane Passagen auf Platten, Dächer auf Schrägen und Kerben, zahlreiche dynamische Bewegungen und einige Traversen. Alle Felsblöcke sind durch Schilder aus der Region Piemont gekennzeichnet und über gut sichtbare Wege leicht zu erreichen.

Il settore è stato scoperto e valorizzato da Fulvio Silvestri, Fabrizio Rosso, Paolo Bertolotto, Luca Macario e Christian Core durante i primi anni del 2000. Nel tempo sono state aperte numerose linee, su un numero modesto di massi, con alcuni passaggi molto fisici. Durante gli anni sono stati creati numerosi raduni boulder organizzati dalla palestra ASD Vertigo di Bra assieme alla Regione Piemonte per valorizzare il territorio; hanno attuato un ottimo lavoro di pulizia del settore pulendo e creando nuovi sentieri e segnaletica per raggiungere facilmente tutti i massi presenti.Bracco vecchio, assieme al Nuovo, sono due settori che è stato spesso frequentato da Core che ha aperto tra le linee più impegnative e storiche come Echidna, Bad Kitty e Re di Pietra(Bracco nuovo)

The sector was discovered and valorised by Fulvio Silvestri, Fabrizio Rosso, Paolo Bertolotto, Luca Macario and Christian Core during the early 2000s. Over time, numerous lines have been opened, on a modest number of boulders, with some very physical passages. Over the years, numerous bouldering rallies have been created, organized by the ASD Vertigo gym in Bra together with the Piedmont Region to enhance the territory; they have carried out an excellent job of cleaning the sector by cleaning and creating new paths and signs to easily reach all the boulders present. Old Bracco, together with the New, are two sectors that have often been frequented by Core which has opened some of the most challenging and historical ones like Echidna, Bad Kitty and King of Stone (Bracco Nuovo)

Au fil du temps, de nombreuses lignes ont été ouvertes, sur un nombre modeste de blocs, avec des passages très physiques. Au fil des années, de nombreux rallyes de bloc ont été créés, organisés par le gymnase ASD Vertigo de Bra en collaboration avec la Région Piémont pour valoriser le territoire ; ils ont réalisé un excellent travail de nettoyage du secteur en nettoyant et en créant de nouveaux sentiers et panneaux pour atteindre facilement tous les rochers présents. Le Vieux Bracco, avec le Nouveau, sont deux secteurs qui ont souvent été fréquentés par Core qui a ouvert certains des les plus difficiles et historiques comme Echidna, Bad Kitty et King of Stone (Bracco Nuovo)
