No special access issues

While the paths through Forestry commission land are relatively easy to follow, and certainly quite easy to walk, they can create a bit of a maze. Trails and GPS locations are provided, although phone signal can often be sparse in these woods so keeping a record offline is advised.

In an attempt to give some idea of directions by text:

For Boss Cuvier. Park immediately as you leave the road and cross the railway in the gate straight in front of you. Follow the obvious path and take the second turning on the right. Bear right at a fork in the road and continue along this path until the Hidden Gold bloc comes into view. Now the tricky part, as you turn off the path to the right in a patch of less-dense woodland. Bear left at the dry stone wall and right after reaching a second, broken wall. The boulders will appear in a small clearing in front of you.

For Shocker, from the car park. Park immediately as you leave the road and cross the railway in the gate straight in front of you. Follow the obvious path but continue straight until a long bend to the left reaches a cross roads. Go straight and at the brow of the hill, fight through the vegetation at the least impassable section before trending leftwards. The large collection of rocks will become apparent in front of you.

For White Rhino: This boulder has yet to be investigated by the topo authors. For more information, please see the North Wales Bouldering Guidebook
