The forests of Hyvinkää's Kytäjä-Usmi -area are made out of particularly rocky terrain. The forests are full of cliff faces surrounded by difficult topography. Vähäkallio, which is located in the middle of these forests, is one of the tallest of the area.
Vähäkallio faces west and is relatively open. The routes dry quickly, as there are barely any cracks that would keep dripping. The climbing at the crag is mostly sporty. Rock quality is good. The landing is very uneven at places and can be especially difficult for children. The rockier landings are mostly under the easier routes. Some suggestions for routes to try would be:
