Description

If steep roof bouldering is your cup of tea, the Storhella cave at Røyken is the destination for you. The cave has several roof endurance testpieces. It is very important to be aware of possible breakage in the roof, and it is advised to check the hollow block sections before every session.

The crag also contain several smaller walls and slabs scattered around the area, with Meeninger as an area classic. The rock quality is Drammensgranitt.

It is especially important to keep a low profile in the Storhella sector due to the houses that has been put up close to the cave. Also please leave no traces, remove tickmarks, don't play music, enjoy!

History

Crag was descovered by Knut Petter Meen in 2010, and developed together with many others the following years.

Due to the housing project, which was not started when the crag was discovered, the boulders bellow the Storhella cave has been demolished.
