The town of Omis is surrounded by rocky hillsides that have been developed to produce one of the largest sport climbing destinations in Croatia.
It is located 25 km east of Split at the coast of Adriatic Sea.
During summer there can be traffic jams in the road near the sea, so it's better to use the road that goes a bit on a north to get to Omiš
