No special access issues
🚶♂️:From Finalpia, at the roundabout take the road following the signs for Le Manie, on the SP45, continue until you reach the sign indicating the name of the plateau, turn left and reach the Osteria La Grotta for parking.
For the MUSEO DELL'UOMO (🧭N 44 11.893 E 8 22.399) and MONOLOCALE (🧭N 44 11.909 E 8 22.363) turn left, at the Grotta dell'Arma pass through a small door and follow a path that descends and leads to the small caves in the Valle della Fontana, please note that it is private property.
For the FALESIA DEL MAKACO (🧭N44 12.020 E 8 22.352) go past the Museo dell'Uomo following the path with green markers that leads near the river and to a cave (489), continue descending and shortly after the red marker on a tree will indicate the path to follow on the right that will climb up to the flat part at the base of the cliff.
For the FALESIA DEL MAMMUTH (🧭N 44 12.134 E 8 22.218) go past the Museo dell'Uomo and the Monolocale following the path until you reach the river, pass a cave (489) and reach the fork for the Makaco cliff near two trees next to the road, from here go left to reach a flat path and then left again on a path carved out by water, climb up to a cave with a wall and then via a winding path you'll reach a cave with a tree at its entrance, from here climb up on the left using a fixed rope and reach a cave with a metal plate at the entrance, continue alongside the rocky wall and use another fixed rope to reach the base of the cliff. Markers: green markers.
For the MESA VERDE (🧭N 44 12.145 E 8 22.493), starting from the Osteria, walk on the dirt road that goes downhill leading to the Ponti Romani following the two red squares as markers, after about 1 km on the left you will find a rocky road that will take you to the white cave.
