El Rio

🧗 This climbing area, located in the ravine of El Río, consists of four sectors which alternate between sun and shade throughout the day.
It offers more than a hundred routes of all difficulties, dominated by technical and continuous climbing, with some boulder moves.
In the sector Galería there are overhangs, where most of the difficulty routes are concentrated. In the other three sectors there are vertical and semi-overhung faces, with grades between 5 and 7.

🌤 There is shade in the morning in the Presa and the Galeria, leaving Fondo available as a nice shady option in the afternoon.

👨‍👧‍👦 If you are climbing with children, Fondo and Galeria are the most appropriate.

El Río was established at the beginning of the millennium, becoming one of the main climbing sectors in the south of the island, for both its quantity and quality of the routes.
