No special access issues

Approach: From the centre of Cromford drive south on the B5036 for approximately 1km. Near the top of the hill turn left (signpost for Black Rocks) then left again into a large pay and display car park. Opposite the second of the two car park entrances, next to the cemetery, there is actually limited free parking (5 - 6 vehicles). At the upper end of the main parking area (about 150m beyond the cafe and toilets) there is a large wooden signpost at the intersection of several trails. Follow the ‘Cromford Moor’ trail uphill for approximately 200m to reach the base of Birch Tree Wall (3 minutes). A smaller path runs leftwards below the crag to reach the other buttresses (3 - 5 minutes from the parking area).
