Decided to check out Rawyl for my last 4 days in Europe, and I get to send my first 8c!!! Took me 4 tries... Sick route and amazing scenery. PSYCHED! I felt really strong after 2 weeks bouldering in Magic Wood.

Definitely not 8A...

Pretty straight forward except the 2nd move, took me a while to figure it out...

Finally!!! I worked out the movements quickly, and in short time was able to do it in two halves... but then it took lots more tries to finally send it. Psyched to finish this one off!!!!

Pretty cool climb! So greasy though...

8A and 8A+ on the same day,that's a first!!! I tried it a few days ago with really wet holds. Came back today after sending Massive Attack, and sent it quickly... Psyched!

Tried this last year, but couldn't pull off the ground. Guess I got more power this year... ;)

Yea! So psyched to send this rig! Great powerful climbing leads to a hard sequence over the lip and then fun scary run-out face climbing to the top! Good 'ole Smiffy classic!

Awesome climb with a hard bouldery crux towards the end when you're pumped. Happy to have sent it last day of my trip. My power endurance is coming slowly back after my finger injury.

Fun climb! Big dyno for the Hueco. Happy to have sent this on my last day in Hueco. Looks like I'm somewhat recovered from my finger injury. 15 minutes.

On a small Boulder straight behind the Get Carter boulder. Start low on the arête to the left of Battle Royale. Move up about 5/6 feet then top out. Cool!

Sick!! On a small boulder straight behind the Get Carter boulder. Start low on the obvious jug, and bust right hand to a small yet positive sharp crimp. From there right hand out to the arête and then pogo to the sloper top. Really cool and I recommend this one!

Yes! So sick! Full Sit down start to Seven Spanish Angels. Start low down and right on a large left facing sloper/pinch about two feet off the ground, move straight up several moves on slopers and a pinch then bust a hard move left to the start of SSA. As for the grade, I feel that it is much harder than many 7C+ (V10)'s I've done, so I'm calling it soft 8A (V11). Nevertheless, so psyched for my hardest FA!! Yeee!!

Finished in style on my last day in Bishop after two easier days to recover. Sooo psyched!!!

Hard for me because the Toxic Avenger finish Dyno is huge.

Awesome climb with a cool swinging toe hook. I was fully extended both arms and toe. Worked it yesterday until 6 of my fingers were bleeding, then sent it 1st go today.

Did it on my rest day while showing Drew around... 1st try but can't call it a flash as I did the same start hit a different problem.

Hard short but bouldery route. Initially 8b by Chris Sharma, but it's conglomerate rock, and several holds have broken off, so it's now considered hard 8b+.

Last route of the day on my 5th day on, so I screwed up my onsight. Lowered, pulled the rope, tied back in and sent it...

Short, but very cool route. Bouldery yet very technical... 2nd Go
