Both sectors stay wet for several days, especially after long rain periods. The crimpy climbs at "Venga Wand" can be worth a try and are quite rain protected.

the steep overhanging routes at "Venga Wand" are good but the jewel here is the off-width crack, for sure. This route is one of a kind in the Frankenjura and requires unique techniques and the usage of mobile protection.
"Schwarzes Riff" shows a way different rock. Not taller than 12 meters and drawn with horizontal sloping cracks with perfect pockets between vertical bouldering routes are predominantly.

Access is good and the sector's bases are flat, so there's no problem to bring your kids.
