As we are RIGHT next to a nature reserve, be sure to be VERY mindful of your surroundings. This means the things you already know; no littering, no open fires (especially at the illegal campfire spot at Ryssänuuni), be mindful of brushing and respect other people.
Accessing Palokalliot by car:
Easiest parking spot to reach Palokalliot from is most probably the one located at Kuusijärvi. It is a 1.6 km walk from there to reach the closest sectors. Be mindful, that the parking at Kuusijärvi has a cost. At the time of writing (17.8.2025) it is 50 snt / hr, between 9 am and 9 pm.
Accessing Palokalliot by public transportation:
You can either reach Kuusijärvi by a multitude of buslines and walk from there, or use the line listed down below to cut down 400 meters of walking.
