but also some really nice boulders can be found here.
On weekends you need to purchase a permit at the gate to enter the area.
Make sure you're back in time before the gates get closed.
People have been climbing and bouldering in Paarl since the early eighties with more focus on sport routes.
Bouldering became more popular in the early 2000's with Niel Mostert being the main developer.
