Questo settore contenuto è immerso in un fantastico bosco di latifoglie con qualche abete e larice sparso. Siamo ad un' altitudine di circa 900/1000 s.l.m rendendolo visitabile anche nei mesi piu freddi, neve permettendo.
La roccia prevalente è gneiss granatoide compatto con numerosi massi abbelliti da evidenti striscie bianche di quarzo. La roccia abbastanza tagliente offre un grip favoloso durante i mesi piu freddi. Gli atterraggi solitamente sicuri e massi non esageratamente alti. Nel settore sono presenti alcuni massi molto grandi e strapiombanti con numerose linee tecniche ed intense che valgono il viaggio.
Questo settore offre numerosi tipi di scalata,dallo strapiombo intenso con tacche nette a placche tecniche e spigoli in compressione.
Purtroppo gli atterraggi di qualche masso si sono riempiti di rovi e vegetazione non permettendo la scalata, ma a breve verranno ripuliti!

This little sector is immersed in a fantastic deciduous forest with some scattered fir and larch. We are at an altitude of around 900/1000 meters above sea level, making it visitable even in the coldest months, snow permitting.
The prevailing rock is compact granatoid gneiss with numerous boulders embellished with clear white stripes of quartz. The fairly sharp rock offers fabulous grip during the colder months. The landings are usually safe and the rocks are not excessively high. In the sector there are some very large and overhanging boulders with numerous technical and intense lines that are worth the trip.
This sector offers numerous types of climbing, from intense overhangs with clear crimps to technical slabs and compression edges.
Unfortunately the landings of some boulders have been filled with brambles and vegetation, preventing climbing but they will be cleaned up soon!

Dieser abgegrenzte Abschnitt liegt inmitten eines fantastischen Laubwaldes mit vereinzelten Tannen und Lärchen. Wir liegen auf einer Höhe von etwa 900/1000 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel und können daher auch in den kältesten Monaten besucht werden, sofern der Schnee es zulässt.
Das vorherrschende Gestein ist kompakter Granat-Gneis mit zahlreichen Felsbrocken, die mit klaren weißen Quarzstreifen verziert sind. Der ziemlich scharfe Fels bietet in den kälteren Monaten hervorragenden Halt. Die Landungen sind in der Regel sicher und die Felsen sind nicht übermäßig hoch. In dem Sektor gibt es einige sehr große und überhängende Felsblöcke mit zahlreichen technischen und intensiven Linien, die eine Reise wert sind.
Dieser Sektor bietet zahlreiche Kletterarten, von intensiven Überhängen mit deutlichen Kerben bis hin zu technischen Platten und Kompressionskanten.
Leider sind die Absätze einiger Felsbrocken mit Brombeersträuchern und Vegetation gefüllt, was ein Klettern unmöglich macht, aber sie werden bald gereinigt!

Ce secteur confiné est immergé dans une fantastique forêt de feuillus avec quelques sapins et mélèzes épars. Nous sommes à une altitude d'environ 900/1000 mètres au dessus du niveau de la mer, ce qui le rend visitable même pendant les mois les plus froids, si la neige le permet.
La roche dominante est un gneiss granatoïde compact avec de nombreux rochers ornés de rayures blanches claires de quartz. Le rocher assez pointu offre une adhérence fabuleuse pendant les mois les plus froids. Les atterrissages sont généralement sûrs et les rochers ne sont pas trop hauts. Dans le secteur se trouvent de très gros rochers en surplomb avec de nombreuses lignes techniques et intenses qui valent le détour.
Ce secteur propose de nombreux types d'escalade, depuis les surplombs intenses avec des crans clairs jusqu'aux dalles techniques et bords de compression.
Malheureusement les paliers de certains rochers ont été remplis de ronces et de végétation, empêchant la montée mais ils seront bientôt nettoyés !

Dopo la scoperta del settore di Chiomonte, tutti i boulderisti avevano occhi solo per quei fantastici massi ignorando il potenziale di altre zone nella valle.Questo accadde al settore di Novalesa fino all'arrivo di Gianluca Furiozzi a fine 2012.Iniziò a ripulire il bosco e vennero fuori dei massi che non avevano nulla da invidiare a La Maddalena di Chiomonte.Questo suo primo intervento portò all'attenzione Stefano Catalano e Fabrizio Droetto che fino al 2016 ,con l'aiuto dei tesserati delle palestre torinesi Bside e Boulderbar, dedicarono le loro giornate a ripulire più massi possibili raggiungendo numeri importanti.Ad oggi Novalesa è divisa in due settori, Abbazia e Apecar: il primo più a valle vicino all'abbazia di Novalesa e il secondo dopo il paese a monte.
Il nome al settore deriva dal fatto che durante le pulizie del settore è stato ritrovato,sommerso dalla vegetazione, un'apecar in disuso da parecchio tempo.

After the discovery of the Chiomonte sector, all boulderers only had eyes for those fantastic boulders ignoring the potential of other areas in the valley. This happened to the Novalesa sector until the arrival of Gianluca Furiozzi at the end of 2012. Après la découverte du secteur Chiomonte, tous les boulderistes n'avaient d'yeux que pour ces fantastiques blocs, ignorant le potentiel des autres zones de la vallée. Cela s'est produit dans le secteur de Novalesa jusqu'à l'arrivée de Gianluca Furiozzi fin 2012. Il a commencé à défricher la forêt et des rochers ont émergé qui n'avaient rien à envier à La Maddalena di Chiomonte. Cette première intervention a attiré l'attention de Stefano Catalano et Fabrizio Droetto qui jusqu'en 2016, avec l'aide des membres des gymnases turinois Bside et Boulderbar, consacraient leurs journées à dégager le plus de rochers possible, atteignant des nombres significatifs. A ce jour, Novalesa est divisée en deux secteurs, Abbazia et Apecar : le premier plus en aval près de l'abbaye de Novalesa et le second après le village en amont.
Le nom du secteur vient du fait que lors du nettoyage du secteur, un singe longtemps désaffecté a été trouvé, submergé par la végétation....

Nach der Entdeckung des Chiomonte-Sektors hatten alle Boulderer nur Augen für diese fantastischen Felsbrocken und ignorierten das Potenzial anderer Gebiete im Tal. Dies geschah mit dem Novalesa-Sektor bis zur Ankunft von Gianluca Furiozzi Ende 2012. Er begann, ihn zu räumen Es entstanden Wälder und Felsbrocken, die La Maddalena di Chiomonte in nichts nachstanden. Der Name des Sektors leitet sich von der Tatsache ab, dass bei der Reinigung des Sektors ein Apecar gefunden wurde, der seit langem nicht mehr genutzt wurde und von der Vegetation überflutet war....
