Noormarkku on Porin alueen ensimmäisiä boulder alueita ja se on tehnyt uutta tuloaan viime vuosien aikana. Noormarkusta löytää paljon erityylisiä reittejä. Alueen reitit ovat suurin osin kuutosia ja alaseiskaakin on melko paljon. Useille sektoreille on todella lyhyt ja helppo lähestyminen.
Hanhikivi on alueen varhainen klassikkokivi. Pohjoissivun pystysuoralla seinämällä on mm. Herkkis 6B, Hartialukko 7A+ ja pari laadukasta (ja sandbagia) nelosta. Eteläpuolella on alussa jyrkkä nega, jossa useita seiskan reittejä (mm. Stalemate/Highball#1) sekä Porin seudun toistaiseksi ainoa 8A, Jäätävä polte. Kiven länsipuolella on hieno Dr. Evil SS 7A ja Katumuksen kyinen koura 6C, joiden alastulot ovat kivikkoisia. Muilla sivuilla alusta on melko tasainen.
Lego sektori muodostuu kolmesta kivestä. Pääkivellä on korkeahko pystysuora nimikkoreitti sekä laadukas pikkunega Diplomaatti 6B+. Lisäksi kivillä on hyvä valikoima erityyppisiä linjoja (släbiä, kanttivääntöä, halkeamaa, ja pieni dyno) vaikeudeltaan 5 - 6B. Alusta on enimmäkseen tasainen.
Dyyni-kivellä on loiva släbi, jossa pääsee helpolla tutustumaan ulkokiipeilyyn. Päädyissä on muutama hyvä kuutosen reitti. Släbipuolen alastulo on tasainen (paitsi oikea reuna), mutta voi olla märkä keväällä ja runsaan sateen jälkeen. Dyynin molemmat päädyt ovat hieman kuoppaisia. Dyynin jälkeen on hyvä suunnata Iltavuoron astetta jyrkemmälle hienolle släbille. Myös siellä on enimmäkseen nelosen ja viitosen linjoja, sekä herkkä Hissunkissun 6B ja mutkikas Iltavuoro 6A+. Alusta on vaihteleva, ja kiveltä laskeutuminen vaatii pientä jumppaa etenkin kostealla säällä. Vaativampaa släbiä on esim. Louhikko-sektorilla.
Alueella on useita muita kiviä, joissa on kelvollisia kuutosen reittejä.
Noormarkun kivenlaatu on hyvä. Kivet ovat tekstuuriltaan hieman erityyppistä kuin esim. Järventaustan ja Takalankulman alueilla.

Noormarkku is one of the first boulder areas in the Pori region and its development has revived in recent years. There are many different types of lines in Noormarkku. The boulders in the area are mostly 6th grade but there are also several 7A's. Approach for many sectors is really short and easy.
Hanhikivi is an early classic stone of the area. The vertical wall on the north side has e.g. Herkkis 6B, Hartialukko 7A+ and a pair of high quality 4th grade lines (sandbags, in reality 5's). On the south side there is a steep overhang at the beginning, with several 7th grade lines (including Stalemate / Highball #1) and so far the only 8A in the Pori region, Jäätävä polte. To the west face of the stone is the fine Dr. Evil SS 7A and Katumuksen kyinen koura 6C, whose landings are rocky. On the other sides, the ground is fairly flat.
The Lego sector consists of three boulders. The main stone has Leego 6C, a vertical highballish line, and Diplomaatti 6B+, which is mildly overhanging and is of high quality. In addition, these boulders have a selection of different types of lines (slab, aretes, crack, and a small dyno) with difficulties from 5 to 6B. The landings are mostly flat.
The Dyyni boulder has a gentle slab where one can easily explore outdoor climbing. There are a few good 6th grade lines at the steeper sides of the rock. Landing under the slab is mostly flat - but it can also be wet in spring and after heavy rain. Landing under the steeper sides of Dyyni are a little bumpy. After Dyyni, one might head for the steeper but fine slab of Iltavuoro. Here the lines are mainly 4th and 5th grade, but try also the delicate Hissunkissun 6B and the intricate Iltavuoro 6A+. The landings are variable, and descending from the rock requires a little exercise, especially in humid weather. A more challenging slab is in the Louhikko sector.
In addition, there are several rocks in the area with quality 6th grade routes.
The stone quality of Noormarkku is good. The stones have a slightly different texture than in the areas of Järventausta and Takalankulma.
