A huge boulder field beside a fresh water lake (Storvatnet). The area is a jungle with lots of moss and vegetation making developing boulders hard and time consuming. The blocs are spread out and getting between them is tricky and potentially dangerous as there are hidden holes so be careful when walking around!
During a roadtrip in 2020 Nalle Hukkataival, Martin Kälble & Scott Noy visited the islands of Lofoten with the aim of developing some new boulders and ended up focused mainly on this area. Due to the random weather and time consuming nature of developing we were only able to touch on the potential of this huge boulder field.
Access: There were no access issues but the trail does come close to a property so please be considerate to the locals.
Drive: Park at the pull-out next to the lake opposite the boulders.
Walk: From the parking, walk right around the lake and after crossing a stream/river either
1. enter the forest on the left for "Hunters of Youth"
2. continue on and enter the forest 100m further towards the hillside.
