No special access issues
🚗 Arrival:
From the Arco town center head to "Laghel" village and keep following the uphill road until you get to the arboretum of Arco. Stay on the main road which turns to right and at the next crossroad take the right. After 600 meters there is another crossroad, take again the right on the uphill road. Park your car in the small area in front of the church. If there is no space go back to the olive grove and drive downhill till you find a large car park on the left.
Mandrea multi-pitches car parks: take the road on the left and drive for about 1.5 km (narrow dirt road). Just after an hairpin bend with an electric truss you will find the first car park. The second is 450 meters ahead on the left side of the road (in front of a private gate). To reach the third, drive for other 330 meters and reach a junction with a fountain and a Madonnina.
🚶♂️ Sector:
Muro dell’asino:
Take the path starting behind the fountain and indicated by the brown signal “FALESIA MURO DELL’ASINO”. Follow this path and after about 130 meters you will find a junction. Keep the right and walk for almost 400 meters. You will reach a junction close to a rock with a white-red painting. Take the left in the downhill path that leads to the crag. Sector baby wood is on the extreme right and is surrounded by a nice lawn.
L’orto and Salt de la cavra:
From the church, take the road on the left and follow it for about 900 meters till you reach a row of cypresses on the right. Look for a path on the left going into the woods (about 30 meters before the house on the left). It is indicated by the signal “Mandrea / San Giovanni al monte / Padaro”. If you want to climb by L’orto, take this path and follow it for few meters. At the first right turn take the steep path on the left which leads to the crag in a couple of minutes.
Otherwise, if your goal is Salt de la cavra, continue walking on the main road, that becomes bumpy, for 500 meters till the gate covered by a roof on the right. Continue on the road for other tens of meters and you will find an evident path on the left going into the woods. Take the path and go over the the stony ground. At the junction keep the right and after 60-70 meters you will reach the crag.
