Climbing has been limited!

🚫🚗 but 🆗🚶 The gravel road to the crag from the tarmac road turn-off, as well as the parking in the turning area is currently closed for vehicles by the landowner. Walking on the road is allowed. Please show extra consideration and leave the crag if sensitive birds are observed.

ℹ️ It is important to keep climbing at Kvarneberget to protect the Swedish ”Allemansträtt”- legislation (that gives free access to land for climbing). At the same time, it is important to do so in an exemplary matter. As always, leave no garbage, including poo and toilet paper.

🦅 🐣 Kvarneberget is a formalized bird protection area since 2018-03-15 and thus closed for climbing annually from 15 February to 31 July. The access ban applies to the entire Sjöväggen (including the walls a bit into the forest) and the Great Wall (Stora väggen). See link below for a map describing the decision. The bolts are removed from the rocks.
