A cliff that offers both small and bigger walls with everything from nice slab climbing to steeper crack climbing. Stora väggen and Sjöväggen are the most visited ones and are scenical placed by the water of Tvetvattnet. Both of them are south facing. A cliff well worth visiting with nice cracks and clean lines. Almost un-limited potential for new routes.
Kjempesteinväggen:
The wall starts directly at the turnaround spot for cars, where most routes are located. A few more routes are located more to the right, one behind the big block that is known as "Kjempesteinen".
Storesva:
The large rather steep slab on the left side of the valley you find after passing "Kjempesteinen". The right part of the wall is vertical in the upper part. The lines consist mainly of shallow cracks, relatively hard to protect.
Västväggen:
A long the east side of the valley is steep and steeper walls with varied height, up to 20 meters. This wall offers less classic clean lines, but there is possibilities for a few routes. "Lurvelabb" is just opposite "Storesvaet" on an overhanging wall.
Sjöväggen:
A beautiful south- and eastfacing wall just next to the lake, that offers a lot of good crack climbing! Walk in between the house and the barn at the end of the road where a path starts down towards the lake. The wall offers beautiful lines of high quality. The right part of the wall dries rather slow after rain. It is possible to borrow Fredrikstad Klätterklubbs rowingboat, as long as you send an SMS to Anders Lindskog on +47 480 403 43. You do not have to wait for confirmation, the SMS is mainly to keep control of the use of the boat.
Stora väggen:
From "Sjöväggen", follow the left side of the wall on the trail that leads to the top. There are anchors for rappeling on. Otherwise you can scramble down to the ledge underneath the routes from the left, seeing it from the top. The routes are long and less steep than at "Sjöväggen" but of good quality.
