❄️🌼🌞🍂
The crags situated north of the village "Krögelstein" are a good choice for early spring or even winter time if you want to catch some sun rays. The southern crags, which are more overhanging, are perfect for late summer and Autumn.
💧
Best crags for rainy days are "Dohlenstein", "Kaiserbachtaler Riesenüberhang" and "Down Under". Fast drying crags are the northern crags "Säukirchner Turm", "Kuhleutner- Wand and Turm" and "Eherbacher Wand".
💪⚙️
Long sustained climbing in vertical or slightly overhanging perfect pitted rock is predominantly at most sectors. "Wallfahrt" offers a short powerful boulder route in perfect rock quality. "Christinenwand" is good for combining hard and some easier climbing.
👶
All Accesses are suitable for buggies but "Down Under". Though "Kuhleutner- Wand and Turm" take about 20 minutes to walk the crag's base is perfect for kids, as well as "Säukirchner Turm". There's a huge lawn and the crags are just next to the hiking trail in the ground of the valley. "Dohlenwand" and "Kaiserbachtaler Riesenüberhang" are similar. Only "Down Under" is unsuitable for small kids
🍽🍻🛌
Closest camping is "Gasthof Campingplatz Waldmühle" in "Freienfels", where you can get good cakes in the next valley. An unique accommodation you'll find in "Schirradorf", look for "Bed and Boulder".
Next shopping facilities are located in "Hollfeld", as well as good restaurants.
You can park your camper van at the calm parking where you get to "Säukirchner Turm", "Kuhleutnerwand".
The owner accepts overnight parking but asks explicitly to take your poop... don't need to be said
🏊
A swimming pool is located in "Hollfeld"
