Igent

Igent has grippy granite blocks of varying chapes and sizes. There are quite a few bolders for kids here, some have grown over with moss again after beeing cleaned. The classics of this crag include Fuckengrüven (7b), Bowling for Columbia (7b), Blitzkrieg (7a), and Sierra Madre (8c).

Unfortunately in the Winter of 2023 an avalanche hit the crag so there are quite a few trees that fell over and some bolders, (Birds nets, Ume Dumme and Come as you are) are more difficult to get to.

Uwe Eder started cleaning some blocks in 1999, after that the area wasnt frequented often until mid the 2010s. Wolfgang Rottensteiner sent The great edge (8b) in 2015.
Im 2017 another cleaning act established more bolders including the ones for Kids.
In the Spring of 2018 Florian Schmalzl sent Sierra Madre the first 8c of Zillertal!
