The area is access sensitive!

Remember that the area is used by VMK as a training/competition ground for Enduro driving. Give space for the drivers, and don't be stupid. Sometimes, due to traffic, some sectors will be off limits for climbing. Luckily, most sectors will still be climbable at. Even though Hanskallio is in the middle of nowhere at the edge of Vantaa it can be reached in an hour from the main railway station of Helsinki with public transportation and in 50 minutes by car.

For the people traveling here by car, there is a parking spot only 500 meters away from the main bouldering area.

If you want to reach the crag by public transportation, you can by taking either the bus 576 (Tikkurila-Aviapolis-Kivistö-Seutula) or 447 (Kivistö-Kesäkylä) and get off at the stop 'Hanskallio'. The stop is right next to the main bouldering area. Tikkurila, Aviapolis and Kivistö are easily reachable by train.
