Description

Greggered was mostly developed by Jens Larssen during 2005. The crag consists of two sectors: Huvudväggen and Hyllan. This is a nice little crag which is a good alternative to, for example, Aspen.

ASPECT AND CLIMATE
Huvudväggen is facing west and is in the sun during the afternoon while Hyllan faces south and catches sun all day. Hyllan dries very fast after rain while Huvudväggen is partially shaded by trees and can take a bit longer to dry. Hyllan is a very nice picnic area with open space in front of it and a nice view.

THE ROUTES
Climbing in Greggered varies between steep slabs and slightly overhanging routes which are 10-15 m long. All routes at Huvudväggen are bolted while a majority of the routes at Hyllan is naturally protected. Almost all routes at the crag are equipped with lower-offs.

History

The main crag was developed during 2005 while most of the routes at Hyllan were done around 2010.

Greggered

The area is access sensitive!

Always leave space for landowner's lorry at the parking lot.

Do not move any fances.

🚗
From Göteborg, take the E6 southwards. Leave the motorway at exit 63, Kålleredsmotet (signs for Kållered S) and follow the signs towards Lindome driving first through a roundabout and then left over the motorway. After that follow Östra Lindomevägen for about 2 km and then turn left onto Norra Hällesåkersvägen (signs for Greggered). Just when you leave Greggered there is a quite big gravel pitch on your right side (easy to miss!). Park here (the landowner sometimes parks a lorry here, so please make sure there is always room for it).
The drive is about 20 km.
🚶‍♀️
From the car park you should be able to spot the crag on the other side of the road (do not destroy any fences).
