At the beginning of summer there are usually some birds that nest at the crag. This usually only affects the left part of the sector “Piasavaväggen”, from the route “Jungfrun” and to the left. Please respect this barrier. Please check Östersunds Klätterklubbs facebook page for latest updates. This barrier can usually be taken down in end of July or beginning of August.

From Östersund it’s possible to get to the crag by walk, bike, unicycle, car, bus or some other transportation of your liking.
From Östersund by car:
Drive over the bridge to Frösön, you will see the crag far to the right on Frösön. Take left in the first intersection. Then you take right in the next one right after Coop. Drive straight, follow Trädgårdsvägen all the way up until it turns into Alpvägen. When you are at the topp of Alpvägen you take a left turn to the Rigor Mortis crag. Park here and walk to Frösöklippan.
Unfortunately the old parkingspot at the mainroad Bergsgatan the municipality turned into a busstop, please don´t park there. If you take the bike to the cliff this is still the easiest place to park your bike.

From Alpvägen: At the end of Alpvägen there is at path to follow all the way to Frösöklippan. The first sector you will arrive to is Piasavaväggen.
From Bergsgatan: The approach is just a few minutes. There is a path on the right side of the industrial plot. Walk that path straight up towards the cliff and you will arrive to Piasavaväggen and Morsans område.
