Conditions of use for all routes and bolts in the Fort Beekenburg climbing area:
1. Climbing is at your own risk. You accept that you alone are fully and completely responsible for your safety. If you don’t know how to climb safely, seek guidance or training.
2. Don’t leave garbage or other waste. Use the garbage bins in the area. There is no toilet nearby, so please use the bathroom before or after you go climbing.
3. Is thorny vegetation taking over climbing routes? We’re happy if you remove it. Don’t prune extensively in the gully, however, as this invites use of the area as a public toilet.
4. Be considerate to other climbers. Don’t leave your rope in a route when it’s busy, unless you’re going to climb it soon.
5. Use carabiners or quickdraws to spare the ‘in situ’ rings. Don’t leave quick links in the bolts! They will rust and become a hazard in time.
6. When the first bolt of a route contains a piece of red tape, please don’t climb it. It is a work in progress, contains unstable rock, etc.
7. You can use the climbing area commercially under the condition that you contribute to the development of rock climbing on Curaçao. If you want to add climbing routes to the area, enquire after the restrictions (‘red tape’). Send an e-mail to climbingbeekenburg@gmail.com to learn more.

How to get there:
1. Follow the Ring road in Willemstad.
2. At the Schottegatweg Zuid, take the exit towards Saliña / Caracasbaai (this is the exit to the Sea Acquarium).
3. At the roundabout, turn left onto the Caracasbaaiweg.
4. Keep following the Caracasbaaiweg.
5. At the roundabout at the end, turn left (if you turn right, you enter Jan Thiel).
6. Follow the road to what seems to be its end (the road quality degrades quite a bit).
7. Turn right and then left.
8. Follow the seaside road to the private pier entrance; just before the entrance, turn left.
9. Follow the road to a T-intersection, then turn right.
10. Drive until the sea appears to your right; park at the right hand side of the road.

You can see the Chain block just in front of you. The Prow and the Pinnacle are on the other side of the road. Less than 1 minute walking.
