Description

These Custonaci topos include all the crags surrounding the Custonaci village: Never Sleeping Wall, Grotta di Cerriolo and Rocca di Cerriolo (including Cactus Garden). These all have different parking spots.

These crags offer some amazing climbing on orange rock full of tufas. 💪

🧗‍♀️ Never Sleeping Wall
This popular sector offers great rock features, and is especially suitable for those climbing in the range 6b-7c+.The approach from the parking is very minimal and this crag has a potential for many more routes!

🧗‍♀️ Rocca di Cerriolo / Parco Cerriolo
This crag offers some beautiful scenery and great-quality climbing on red limestone. The wall directions vary from North to South so depending on your wishes you can quite easily climb in the shade or sun. Parco Cerriolo offers a good range of different grades, and the easiest ones (grades 4-5) can be found in the Cactus Sector which is a bit separate from the other parts.

🧗‍♀️ Grotta di Cerriola
A crazy cave that currently has 3 established routes and 1 project. Climb For Life which is opened by Adam Ondra is one of the hardest routes in Sicily. The cave stays dry in the rain but can suffer from seepage. There's potential for more hard routes.

☀️ Many sectors get a nice amount of sun so they can dry rather fast after rain. But as there's many tufas, after prolonged rain there's a chance for seepage.
