Description

🚶‍♂️ 5-10' - ⛰️ 900-950 MSL - 🧭 S - ☀️ All day

Cavedago is probably the best winter crag close to Molveno / Andalo.
It is composed of two sectors: the left part of the Main sector is the oldest one and has super fingery and technical routes with high difficulties. The right part is more recent with some interesting routes and can be reached by a short hiking trail after the left part. Muretto dei nani sector has many short and explosive routes, so if you like boulders you cannot miss it!
There are a lot of routes starting from the sixth grade till the eighth. Almost all of them run along grey vertical and overhanging walls and require a good amount of finger strength.
The bases of Cavedago’s sectors are ok but pay attention on the hiking trail, so some parts are not recommended for children. The equipment is quite good on all the routes.
This topo also collects 40+ boulder problems. Some of them are really challenging on good rock. check them out!

Cavedago is a super crag and it is highly recommended during the winter. The area is beautiful and quiet and the landscape is amazing. Cavedago is close to the nice skiing area of Paganella, so you have many alternatives to climbing if you want to recover your fingers!

History
