La Cañada del Capricho is a labyrinth of towers, narrow passages, and cave-like formations, where short powerful overhangs are located right next to slabs. It is also a good place to boulder.
The sector is located in a natural and beautiful environment and has rock that is abrasive and unique in character.

History
El Capricho is the first sector of sport climbing on the island. It is located at an elevation of more than 2,000 meters and is part of a unique environment with its own high mountain climate.
This climbing area is located within El Teide National Park. Climbing as a sports activity is included in the National Park Policy as an authorized use. Be aware of your surroundings and act in a way that is even more respectful of the environment than usual.
