Description
A compact roadside crag, with short and technical mid-grade routes on mainly vertical limestone. Caliza is noisy due to traffic on the road below, but has a nice view over the Tajo de la Encantada reservoir towards the Frontales face and the El Chorro Gorge.
The cliff faces North-East and is in the shade the whole day. If you are looking for a quick climb and are not so picky on the atmosphere, Caliza is a good option on sunny days.
Most of the routes are crimpy in nature, and bolted in the 90s so the wear can be felt.
