The name of the crag comes from the beach's local name 'Crvena Plaza', meaning 'Red Beach'. The limestone boulders offer a variety of climbing with different styles, such as overhangs, vertical and powerful, as well as a wide array of holds, including crimps, jugs, slopers, pinches and many more. Currently, around 40 boulder problems are available, ranging between 4+ and 7C+. Below is a list of boulder problems, deserving to be considered as classics:
Headbanger 6A
Cold War 6A+
Pinch Factor 6B+
Soviet Union 6C+
Hibernation 7A+
Bear's Den 7B
The Revenant 7C+
The area offers year round climbing, with the exception for days that bring poor weather conditions. In the summer season (July- August), it is possible to boulder in shaded areas of Red Beach, with the opportunity to cool down in the pure waters of the Adriatic.
