Arico Nuevo

With more than 280 Boulders Arico Nuevo is the area with the most boulders on the island.The open gorge is best when it is cloudy or during the colder season from October to April. Even though the number of boulders, there is room for some cleaning and first ascents, if you do, please report here on 27 Crags. The area is mostly children friendly.

Bouldering has been here since 1999 when the boulders were cleaned for a bouldering competition. In a sunny gorge where high walls are missing, there is also some good bouldering and potential for new developments.
The area is mostly child-friendly.
