No special access issues
🚗 Arrival:
Coming from the motorway, exit at Ivrea (TO) and take the SS 565 towards Castellamonte and then the SS 460. Head initially to Cuorgnè and go over it. Now the way to Valle dell’Orco is still long but really simple. You only have to keep driving along the SS 460 till you reach the lake of Ceresole (about 38 km from Cuorgnè), 1 km before the village of Ceresole Reale.
Continue driving along the coast and reach the lake end, then go straight into the valley. 300 meters before the “Piccolo Paradiso” camping, you will find a large space on the left side of the road, where you can leave the car.
🚶♂️ Boulder area:
Get back on the main road and walk towards the camping. Reach it, then continue walking for another 100 meters, getting to another space on the left side of the road. This space is private property of the camping and it is not allowed to park the car here!
Look for a trace that starts here and goes downhill. After few meters go right (if you go straight you will get into the camping) and reach the river. Just cross it to reach the first boulders.
There is another direct access through the campsite. If you want to follow this up, ask the reception, they are really kind.
