Red point
Scouted this a few years back but never wanted to commit to the long walk, not knowing how quickly this dries, what conditions I'd need or how hard it was. Finally pulled the trigger! Had a horrible punt 4 days ago off the ledge with the topout dirty, with an awkward fall. Messed up my knee and couldn't sleep due to the pain that night, thinking I was out for quite a while -- but miracles happen and 2 days later it felt substantially better. Was still a risk going out today with the snow melting, and sure enough water was dripping down the boulder but conveniently between the holds, nothing I used was even the least bit damp. My punt ends up to have been for the best, as I popped off the crucial left foot while warming up. Now maybe 1/4 to 1/2 grade harder. Powerful roof moves leads to a compression mid section with delicate finish. Full value, only detractor is the choss rock at the bottom. Some more mega lines in this cluster that need (more) love! Felt just a bit easier that Scuttle, definitely harder than Golden. Will be back with some heavy equipment!
