Vätteberget is a 74 metre high wisible landmark in the popular holiday resort Fjällbacka. The view from the top is great. Slightly below the top is a 45 degree overhanging 20 meter and heavily featured wall which offers steep climbing which is rare to find on granite. The granite is however very course and rough on the skin.
Due to the steep nature of the main wall, most of the climbs are in the seventh grade and above. The wall is facing south-east but due to the overhanging nature, the wall stays in the shade pretty much all day, though the base of the wall may heat up during the afternoon. Not sure about the conditions in summer, I guess it may be ok in the first half of the day.
