Driving Directions (ESPECIALLY FOR LARGER VEHICLES):
From Fayetteville, turn right onto US-19N and cross the NRG bridge. Take the 2nd right after the bridge onto Lansing-Edmond Road. Drive up the hill then take your first right onto Fayette Station Road. Stay right at both forks. After the 2nd fork, the road becomes ONE WAY. Drive down the windy road, under the bridge, and past Bridge Buttress. At the next intersection take a hard left. Now you're headed down the gorge. After 0.2 miles, there will be a dirt road on your right. Take a hard right onto it.
For Upper Teay's, drive 0.2 miles and park at the first big pullout on the left (at least 4 cars can fit - there's a bit more parking further down the road if needed). Make sure you're totally off the road, as rafting buses drive down this road often.
Hiking Directions: From the described parking area, follow the road downhill for 200ft or so, looking for the 2nd boulder on your left situated just off the road Cut down on the far side of this boulder. The trails here are faint and steep. Total hiking time: 2-7 minutes.
For Lower Teay's, drive 0.6 miles, and you should see the Lower Teay's Boulder uphill on your right. Another 0.1 miles will get you to the next parking area big enough to get your car off the road. Make sure you're totally off the road, as rafting buses drive down this road often.
Hiking Directions: Walk back up the road 0.1 miles. There is a small drainage that goes directly to the boulder, but the drainage just before it is easier to walk up. Walk about 20ft up this drainage, then cross over the drainage, walking up and right toward the boulder on a faint trail just below a tree growing on a rock. A short walk along a sturdy gravel road leads to a steep trail down to the boulders. The Cloud Boulder is a very short walk. Total hiking time: 2 minutes.
