Description

Tragana is essentially the smaller sister of sector Babala, located on the same cliff just a few hundred meters to the left. We've divided the area into three parts due to differences in approach, rock quality, and the main equippers involved.
The far-left section, Catalan Wall, offers fantastic low-angle tufa routes, as well as classic crimp-style climbs.
Tragana Main features typical tufa climbing, with some “broccoli” holds toward the right end of the wall, near Grotte Rouge.
Grotte Rouge is an impressive, steep tufa cave, home exclusively to routes in the French 8th grade.
Except for a few lines in Tragana Main, the bolting across the entire sector is excellent, reflecting the high standards of each of the equippers involved.
Please treat the tufas with care, many of the lines are still rarely climbed, and some small holds may still break.

History

Always motivated French climbers and equippers Yann and Philippe began developing the sector in 2018, starting with the first lines in Grotte Rouge. That same year, the Catalan couple Pol and Nuria joined the effort. Since then, other Catalans, Americans, French climbers and one Austrian :-) have continued the work up there.
Last year, Andy, Daniel, and I prepared a new approach trail, making access to the walls significantly easier.
