Trysunda

The area is access sensitive!

MUST READ
This is a nature reserv which is held in very high regard. It goes without saying, but:
* Do not pick ANY of the rocks to take home, no matter how round, polished and beautiful.
* Do not litter.
* Respect nature (plants, moss, animals etc).
* Keep down the noise when close to paths and bathing spots (as the Island hosts a lot of visitors).
* Only use designated areas for fire.
* If you stumble upon new boulders, do not brush them. Efforts are being made to allow more climbing to be developed. Brushing may hinder these efforts or even ban climbing on the island.
*Don't use excessive amounts of chalk, and bush your holds afterwards.

There are two options for getting to the island.
A) Using your own boat.
B) Going by ferry from the designated parking spot.
The Ferry goes 3 times a day, however, only two of those times are viable if you carry crashpads.

If you choose option B, do the following.
* Book a ticket from Köpmanholmen - Trysunda
https://www.nortic.se/dagny/organizer/1363/travel
(Recommended to book a ticket a few days in advance, and one home directly as well, as it may be fully booked close to departure.)
!!NOTE!!: YOU MAY ONLY BOOK [M/F ULVÖN].
m/f Minerva does not allow crashpads.

* Arrive at the designated parking spot at least 20 minutes before the boat is to take off. Note that parking is not free.

* It's highly recommended against having more than 7-8 crashpads in one go, as it can get very crowded.

* Get out to the island and enjoy.

Further:
* Tents can be but up at Björnviken and Rödskateviken, but there are also cabines which can be rented.

* There is a small supermarket/cafe which is open during summers. They offer breakfast, lunch, and a very small assortment of other food items. For more information about the island it's recommended to Google "Trysunda" and check örnsköldsviks kommuns website.
