Description
Starkenbach is a great and easily reachable crag with versatile routes. With around 300 routes it's also one of the biggest crags in Tirol!
The routes vary from long and sustained face climbs of the Zauberlehrling-sector to the overhanging routes of Gamswandl and Herbstwind.
The best time to visit Starkenbach is from around March to May and September to October. Thanks to the south facing orientation it's also a great option for sunny winter days!
As the face continues much higher than the climbing area, please pay attention to falling rocks and always wear a helmet.
