🚗🅿️ DRIVING AND PARKING
From Tarascon‑sur‑Ariège, drive east on the D8 along the Vicdessos valley to Niaux. Before leaving the village, turn left onto the D156 signposted to the Grotte de Niaux and Miglos. After about 100 m take the right fork (Miglos) and continue 300 m up a narrow, twisting lane. A large limestone boulder leans over the road; park on the grass verge just before this.
There is space for only four or five cars. There are a few small pull‑ins further along the road, but the road is single‑track and is used by farmers, so don’t block gateways and avoid parking in the village
🚶APPROACH
Follow the road around the bend and past the boulder, and take the left leading path. Follow this path to the cliff for around 5 minutes.
