The area is access sensitive
Schleierwasserfall is located 1 km before the toll road and is accessible year-round. It is easy to find, as there is only one main road through the valley. After passing through the towns of Malta and Fischertratten, you will come across the distinctive Fallbach waterfall and the sport climbing crag Kreuzwand. Soon after, you'll reach parking areas on the left and right sides (3€ per day). For easy navigation, the parking is marked on Google Maps as "Parkplatz Schleierwasserfall." The parking area is spacious; please park considerately and avoid parking on the meadow. It also features a regularly serviced toilet maintained by locals.
From the parking area, it takes five to 20 minutes to reach the crags.
Schleierwasserfall: The trail begins next to the parking area and a cow meadow. Stay on the marked path that leads from the parking area to the climbing area, as there have been issues with private property rights.
Wunderland, Eskimo, Grauewand, Rotewand, Herbstzeit, and Kolosseum: The trail to these sectors starts at an opening in the middle of the fence around the parking area. The first sector you'll pass is Wunderland, and the last you'll reach is Kolosseum. Disregard the signs at the parking area, as they are inaccurate for these sectors.
Gamsloch: To reach Gamsloch, follow the road in the direction of Malta, then turn left at the sign for Gammsloch. Alternatively, you can take a small trail in the woods next to the street.
Important notes:
Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on the private property except at Schleierwasserfall.
Signal: Signal connectivity is generally good; however, it's advisable to download the map for offline use to ensure navigation accuracy.
Most importantly: Don’t be stupid.*
