The split rock is located in the NP Muránska plania and in the NPR Hrdzavá with the highest degree of nature protection. Muránska planina National Park is designated as a location for mountain climbing in the visiting regulations. Follow the Muránska planina National Park visiting regulations and nature protection rules, especially the strict ban on setting fires. You have to park in the village, e.g. near the Lykovec guesthouse, as the land behind the village is private and farmed. New climbing activities must be consulted by local climbers.
