Description

Beauvais Roches Noires is a smaller sector between a cluster of boulder areas in the north forest of Fontainebleau.

Boulders range from easy orange circuit problems to a blue circuit, a red circuit and it also includes some single boulder problems (ranging from 4 to 7b/+).
The area is made of solid sandstone boulders and a variety of styles can be found.
All boulders follow the same path and can be connected one after another.

📝 Information about naming:
The boulders are usually marked by the hardest circuit problem (for example Red20 or R20), followed by the second hardest (B20 = Blue20) and lest hardest (O20 = Orange20).

Single or important lines, will be marked by a short version of the line.

🍁 Season:
Noires can be climbed all year around. It is though recommended not to climb after rainy days. It's fairly hidden in the forrest and some boulders might take a while to dry. It is definitely a good spot to escape to on crowded days.

🧗 Climbing style:
Varied climbing style from high slabs to technical faces and some overhanging smaller boulders up to 7B/+, as well as a NEW (2022/2023) 8A.

Circuits:
🔴 Red TD => 20 lines
Challenging circuit with high slaps and a fair amount of technical climbing

🔵 Blue D => 28 lines
Following the other circuits, this is the one with the most problems.

🟠 Orange AD => 22
Easiest circuit in the area.
