From Helsinki-Tampere highway (E12/10) take the exit 18 to 'Arolampi'. Turn west to ' Meijerintie', drive for 800 m/ 1 min. Turn west on 'Retkiojantie'. Drive for 2,5 km / 4 min. At the crossroad keep left to 'Vatsiantie'. Drive about 2 km and turn left on ' Suolijärventie'. Drive for 500 m and you will come to a crossroad where you can park. Do not block the road.This parking spot can take max 4 cars. Continue by foot, heading south. After about 500 m, you can see the crags on the left.
The accessibility of Rautavuori by public transport is very similar to Vähäkallio and Kiiskilampi. The best way to access the crag using public transport is a bike ride from Hyvinkää (14.5 km). A bus can take you only 5 km away from the crag, but is not available as often as the train.
