2023 Wildfires Update: A catastrophic wildfire devastated Parnitha mountain in late August 2023 affecting a large number of crags in Athens including many published in 27crags application. It is possible that rock quality could be affected and route safety compromised.

By Private Vehicle:
From Attiki Odos Exit #6, follow Fylis Avenue towards Fyli / Chasia (north/west).
Follow the road for 500m until big roundabout. Take the third exit on the roundabout and continue on Fylis Avenue. 3,1km after the roundabout you will see a golden-domed church on your right hand -Panagia Kanala (ΠANAΓΙΑ ΚΑΝΑΛΑ) and a football pitch on your left.

Soon after passing the golden-domed Panagia Kanala church take the right turn opposite tο bus stop 31st Fylis (31η ΦΥΛΗΣ) following signposts to ‘‘taverna - Ta Pitharia” (Ταβέρνα -ΤΑ ΠΙΘΑΡΙΑ). 1,8km later, reach crossroad, turn right and take the left branch.

Continue on narrow winding road for 1,6km till you reach the end of the asphalt. Park next to big green water tank and follow on foot the left dirt road for 450m (small green sign “ΚΕΡΑΜΙΔΙ- ΣΠΗΛΑΙΟ ΠΑΝΟΣ”). Continue on clear footpath for another 100m till you reach Sector “Pigi” to your right. Further left of sector "Pigi", more lines have been drilled on a small wall with potential for more hard lines (sector "Skliro Agori"). Sector "Spilia" can be found following the rock face for 10-15 minutes from "Pigi" sector. Finally, sector "Tripes" is found even further down the footpath. Shortly after passing the big boulder that balances next to the footpath on the edge of the cliff you will see the eye-catching tufa wall of the sector to your right. Ascend following a faint footpath to reach the crag in 1-2 minutes.

Total walking distance: 550-1100m, walking time 10-20min, total positive altitude: 0 to 50m (depending on sector).

By Public Transport:
Catching line B12 (ΑΝΩ ΛΙΟΣΙΑ – ΜΑΡΝΗ) from Attiki METRO station and changing to bus 723 (ΑΝΩ ΛΙΟΣΙΑ ΚΥΚΛΙΚΟ – ΦΥΛΗ) on the 20th Fylis stop (20η ΦΥΛΗΣ) will bring you to Fyli village. Get off at “Agiou Kyrpianou” stop (ΑΓΙΟΥ ΚΥΠΡΙΑΝΟΥ). From here, follow small country road heading north for 1,6km which will bring you to big green water tank described above.
