The area is access sensitive!

The mountains surrounding Oukaïmeden are a home to many Shepherds and thousands of sheep.

They escape the hot and low grasslands during the summer months to feed their sheep in the higher and cooler mountains of The Atlas.

Because of this you will find some simple huts and structures for the animals in some of the areas. Respect this and don’t try to set nice problems at the expense of a fragile fence or shepherds hut.

Please be extremely respectful of the Shepherds and local community. Also, please ensure you take all rubbish and litter home with you.
