Neulaniemi

Nice area very close to city but thick forest makes it perfect getaway from the public. You can get there easily by bike or car and even by walking from VOEMA!
There is plenty of room for cars in the main parking lot and many smaller parking spots near every climbing sector. Approach are short and easy to every sector!
The area is under housing-construction so be wise where to park your car in the future.

The climbing is mainly short boulders/crags with good landings. There is something for everyone especially for climbing grade 5's and 6's. Some problems might be vegetated so take a brush with you.

First problems might be climbed as early as 1990's or early 2000 by university students taking a break from hard studies but most problems were established before 2010. New wave came after 2005 when harder power-endurance-hooking testpieces such as Farmaseutti and Proviisori were established. Newest additions were established in summer 2020 when some forestry hippies opened sectors as Jälki-istunto, Heart of stone and Ajaton.
