Mörkberget
Climbing has been limited!
På grund av häckande fågel är Mörkberget strax öster om Järvsö är stängt för klättring perioden 1/4 – 20/8. Klätterstoppet återkommer årligen.
Due to nesting birds Mörkberget is closed for climbing from April 1 to August 20.
See the map marker for the parking space. The road can be a bit hard to spot and has a warning sign that says it is a bad road, but the road has been partly repaired and is in OK shape (2025). Do not follow the old parking instructions from Sverigeföraren.
From the parking space you can follow some logging machine tracks for a few hundred meters. When the machine tracks turn left, continue straight for about 20 meters until you reach a walking trail. This passage is marked. Take left and follow the trail. Keep left when the trail joins a bigger trail. Shortly after the forest opens up and the trail becomes a gravel road, Bra väggen should start to become visible on the left side. A marked trail leads directly to Bra väggen/Vildmarksväggen. Alternatively, to reach Stora väggen and a good campsite, continue straight and take the next trail left.
About 20 minutes walk.
