Las Barbas de San Pedro

This is a good sector for moderate climbing and for those that enjoy trad climbing.
Located near Caserío de Las Vegas, Las Barbas de San Pedro combines sport climbing with traditional climbing in all kinds of cracks.
This climbing area is in a beautiful environment, hidden among tall pines which offer refuge from the heat. It is especially important not to light a fire or throw cigarette butts.
The sectors to the right of the ravine, at a higher level, emerge over the pines and are exposed to the sun throughout the afternoon.

This is another of the small sectors in the South of Tenerife that has opened in recent years. It is in Comaraca de Abona.
This sector was discovered by accident when climbers were going to gather chestnuts. They immediately recognized its potential for both sport and traditional climbing. In fact, nearly 50% of the routes are trad routes.
